The commissioning standard
What the house will specify, secure, accept, and restore — and what it will refuse — before a brief becomes a commission. Leave a brief. Receive architecture and private terms.
01
Architecture
Specification before construction. One standard across the operating core, the surfaces operators live in, and the operating model. No layer foreign to the product. The stack is named because it is operated, not because it photographs well. The construction sequence is the nine-layer spine on the home stack. Six certified locales and direction integrity are architecture, not a widget.
02
Security L1
Security from the first line, on every system — a principle, not a seventh practice. Tenancy and role. Audit trail. Private boundary. Headers and CSP as craft. L1 is the standard token. World-rank claims are not the contract.
03
Failure
Failure is a designed path, not an incident report. Restore is part of performance. Agents cannot wander. Money and access do not move silently. The house will stop a commission rather than ship a system that has not been accepted.
04
Governance
One command. Four gates — G0 specification, G1 architecture, G2 acceptance, G3 commission. Optimize is a standing order after G3, not a gate. After identity, a senior engineer reaches out. Speech stays bound to the brief and the canon. Impact names magnitudes; results wait on evidence. The Secretary is the first gate of governance, not a quote bot.
Doctrines
What the house will not do
The operating system is defined by its refusals as much as by its stages.
01
No invention outside the facts
If it is not in the brief or the canon, the desk confirms. Nothing is invented outside what was specified.
02
No decorative layer
The interface is not foreign to the system. Design sits under the same standard as the code.
03
No wandering agents
Agents are bound to the workflow they are commissioned into. They do not roam the estate.
04
No silent money or access
Failure has a designed path. Payees, roles, and records do not change in the dark.
05
No commission without acceptance
Nothing that has not been accepted is commissioned. G2 is a hard stop.
06
No public rate card
One private allocation after specification lock. No broker fees on the page.
07
No seventh practice
Six instruments compose the Commission. Cyber security is a principle written from the first line, not a SKU.
